Default RED SLED pics...i

Well dudes and dudettes, I finally have this thing back. Unfortunately, it has problems. So far, here's what is wrong:

1. bike won't idle/rough idle, shuts off at idle, coughs and spits when revs between 1,000 and 2,500
2. brake fluid leaking from front brake lever
3. painter sucked/pits in paint
4. tires had 5 psi in them - almost wrecked on the way home
5. didnt replace the Fuel Pak, just took it off
6. front turn sigs improperly installed

EDIT*** before anyone asks, that's not my house or truck. My OL owns that pimpin' Versa though!

So here's what I've done to try and fix the engine:

Pulled fuel filter and filter cup. Scraped and cleaned cup, replaced filter.
Fresh gas plus Sabil

Rode it home 200 miles - better but not fixed. Still won't idle right, still pops/coughs. Any thoughts? Dawg?

With the cough and pop are you throwing a code? Your first post said the fuel pak was removed? Do you have an other tuner on board? With pipes and air cleaner upgrade you need something.

Contrary to popular belief, you dont need anything with an a/c and pipes. FuelPak was damaged in the wreck, but it was only superficial. Some dielectric grease and electrical tape and we're in business. So yes, it has the FuelPak back on it.

Anybody think its the IAC? or the injectors? it won't maintain a speed below 2500 rpms. anything above that, it runs like normal, all the way to red line.

I've got plugs coming, wire are SE and were fine before.

Yeah, its a loooong story, i have other posts on it. Cant get into too much detail as I am having to pursue legal action.

Basically, it was a bike rescue. The shop owner hired 'muscle' on pick up day. He didnt want to even come in and give it back.

I wouldnt give them my underwear to wash...much less my bike to work on.

Bike looks real nice, at least in the pics. Hope it all gets sorted out.

Is the fairing stock? How about the headlight cover?
