Slip on's

If all you do is put on slip on mufflers; does it need to be remapped ? Airbox is stock..

depends on year,07 08 yes remap.unless u like heat and ping,ping over an extended time will do damage to a motor.other years remapping is debatable.

i would retune a COMPLETLY stock 07 or08,any other year not so much.

While some OEM calibrations are better than others and change by year/model, generally speaking on most bikes you can replace the mufflers and get by without retuning as long as you leave the stock airbox in place and use mufflers that utilize baffles of reasonable design. There are certainly proven benefits by retuning such as better performance, cooler running, etc.. however in most cases the bike will be within reasonable tune if you replace just the mufflers.
