Anything bad about a 2012 vivid black limited? Reliability of the 103? Pretty sure i'm gonna pull the trigger on one, just want to hear anything I may not have thought about.
Buy it, then get the vivid black painted inner faring. BLAM! you got a beauty!! I am a believer that black is truly the only legitimate color for a motorcycle. No, I don't have a black one, but had they had one in 2010, I would have one!! Go for it!
Just saw a vivid black Ultra Limited today in the showroom. Stunning, just stunning. If you buy it, be ready to stay after it with the dusting, cleaning, waxing, etc to keep it sharp looking. After 2 black motorcycles, I bought a silver EGC just for something different and so I didn't have to stay after it so much to keep it lookin' good.

My car is black and it sucks staying after it. But when it is clean is beautiful. My bike has a black painted inner and it shows the dust more than anything on my bike
You will love the limited! I have a 2010 Vivid black Ultra Classic, previous posts are right, a bitch to keep clean, but beautiful when they are. Ive heard nothing in particular bad about the 103, seems to be very reliable. Get rid of that cat as soon as ya can. Go stage 1 with a TTS or SERT. You will be happy!
I bought a left over 11 Limited, Vivid Black, after the 12s were on the dealers floor... Saved over 3500.00........ Great bike, You want regret it...... Might be an 11 still out there, if you look and if money is an issue. I compared 11 to 12 and Very little difference, and nothing major.......................hdman
