OK folks, my first post and I am about to sell my metric (Yamaha Vstar 1000) and purchase a 2007 Electraglide Classic. Trouble is I can't get my head around which colour, vivid black or red cherry pearl. I'm 50 ish and I like black cherry but wifey likes black, she also says it will be easier to sell if i don't like my HD. Any thoughts? Thanks
thats just my opinion. I dont think the color will help you sell it any faster. If someone wants your bike they will buy it. Don't worry about that in making your purchase. Buy what you like and what you will enjoy being on - PERIOD!
My wife just got a black Street Glide. She was torn between the black and black cherry and decided that the black was nicer, and offered moreoptionsfor future graphics, pin striping, ete. She thought the Black Cherry looked too brown and dull unless it was in direct sunlight.
I personally have always been partial to black HD's.
I have an 06 street Glide in Black Cherry. I love the color! It's deep, rich and shines beautifully. Also, at different angles or different lighting conditions the bike looks black until you get up next to it. Wouldn't change a thing and my wife loves it too, which wasn't planned but is a relief. Good Luck!
