That's a really good deal. I thought my brand new dresser duals for $280 was good. That's beats me....lol
New bike trade in so he took them off. Perfect shape in the box. Almost got his PC5 for another $150. He changed his mind. No big deal, I got a SE race tuner in it already. I just figured I could get the FBW delay tuned out with the PC5.
Well dang, I got the SE super tuner. I guess I need to get someone to change my map and get rid of that delay.
I like to ride the cones and that delay is a booger. It almost stumbles, which means my foot comes down.
I do my own tuning with my se tuner. I am by no means an expert, but my bike was dyno'd before I swapped to the true duals and will the help of the tuner thread and harleytuner it tuned out nice. Saved me some coin too
Couple of things are different , new mufflers not broke in yet and the head pipe is different. The mufflers will get a little louder with some miles on them but not sure if will be what you are looking for.
I have this tuner 32109-08A and nothing else, just the black module...lol. Not sure of my options on doing any changes.
You should have smart tune on that tuner. For about $60 you can buy the software and cables and tune that bike yourself. It is actually lots of fun doing it. Try this thread and you can learn a lot.
Click on those pics and give her a listen....two distinctly different sounds. The 09 should by all means should be louder. It is echoing off my boat that is right behind me.
Same phone recording this too. I just did the 09 right now.
The 07 hits. The 09 seems deeper and more muffled sounding.
Also, to be noted, this 09 gets hotter and faster. It idle for 2-3 min in the garage and I can feel the heat radiate up. Not sure what that's about but the 07 could ride around it traffic for a while before getting this amount of heat coming up.
