BDL makes a new compensator sprocket for 2007 and up baggers - 34 tooth. Does anyone have any experience with BDL compensators or has anyone used this product. Sells for $197
I am not sure it has no springs. If you look at the installation instructions it appears to have some compensation ability. Just not clear enough to see how it is done. Guess I will have to call BDL and get some info.
keep us posted..as I dont see why HD went to the style thay use..I've heard it has less strain on the drive line...but those are failing...I havent changed mine yet... this maybe a better replacement...there are no moving parts to wear on this...

It sounds like pretty new. Web site give a one year warranty. I'm on my second SE Comp sproket. Still have extended warranty, if I need another I might see if warranty could go BDL.. I have off the wall coverage.. Not Harley
I spoke with BDL, they say it does have some compensating ability. The sprocket actually moves back and forth approx 2-3 teeth. It looks like a pretty sweet set up, it's installed, just waiting for a few more parts then I'll test it out...
