I'd be willing to bet the jack is built by the same China plant that makes the Craftsmen and other jacks that the guys that like to spend more money brag about. I have had my HF jack for 3 years and put my ultra on it all the time with no problems and got it for $59.00 just because it doesn't say Sears or some of the other BIG names don't mean squat.

I lift mine all the time and it doesn't strain..I moved the pads out to the outside and it just made it even more stable....why do you have to spend $600 for a lift before you can get a consensus that the lift is awesome?

Agreed, the HF jack warranty is 90 days and the Sears 1 year. I read other posts were the HF jack leaked the first month or two.

I love Harbor Freight, but I bought the Aluminum Sears version. Best $180 I've spent. I just role the jack under and start jacking it up. Don't even need to touch the bike. Bike is sitting on this jack all winter.

Went in to the HF store nearest me (Springdale, AR) and they had signs posted that the additional 20% discount did NOT apply to jacks and table lifts that were already marked down!!! Seems some stores will give it to you and some won't. Still, $299 is a good price for their table lift.

I have the lift table and bought the black wheel chauk to go with it. In addition, I bought the K&L Fat Jack to lift the bike while on the table for wheel work. Kinda pricey but it can go under a lowered bike with a small foot print area the the lift table provides.
The table is stable, even when loosening or tightening the compensator nut, primary pulley nut or rear axel nut. I think it might get wobbly if I were to try to get on the bike while the table was in the raised position.

For the price you can't beat the table lift and the wheel chock. One of the best combo deals around. IMO
