I believe they will accomdate up to a 4" muffler. Theres a few guys on here with the HD extensions, but if memory serves I dont think there running the V&H mufflers. I know T-man has em on his SG, and oczeam has recently put them on his FLHTP. Try searching for "HD saddlebag extensions" on this Touring section, previous threads on this topic will come up.

V&H monster ovals might be tight, the hi-outputs should be fine

I have the H-D bag extentions on my SG. I have BUB Boom cans that are 6" in Diamater and they fit fine. So you should be ok.

Man those sound HUGE

OP I just found this on the V&H site for the monster pipes

"It’s also just the right fit for CVO models with extended saddlebag skirts.

- Full Coverage Heat Shields
- CNC Machined End Cap
- Available in Chrome Finish
- Fits Saddlebags with Extended Skirts"

If you're gonna do extensions, just do HD or Bad Dad extensions. They look the best. The Cyclesmiths ones look very cheesy to me. But just my opinion.
