This leaves the potential customer (at least in my case) with a serious lack of confidence in them as a company/vendor.
With how pricey those damn bars are, I would think they could at least tell me if they work with factory heated grips and how far above the fairing they sit, two very reasonable questions if you ask me.
And don't get me started on how rough they leave the bars on the inside, makes running wires a nightmare, more so than it already is.
I never had a quality issue in the past, but something just ain't right over there @ Carlini, and with them being at the top end of price point in their category of the products they sell, they better get their act together quick, or it's only a matter of time before they can't afford to keep the doors open.
They even have spelling errors on their website on new products pictured and contradicting information about wire and cable lengths. One part of the website says not to inquire about wires/cables, then the home page says they sell wire/cable kits.
This might all sound like nitpicking, but when your bars cost almost $400 you need to be running a tight ship.
Just my $0.02
Tony explained the problems they have had with shipping to Canada and clarified that they are working to streamline the process.
He insured that I will receive the clamp as soon as possible and wanted to do everything he could to make sure that I was a happy customer.
I appreciate the call that I received and was happy that the owner himself spent the time to rectify this problem. It honestly sounds like they are working at making their business processes better. I'm guessing they read this thread so hopefully they will work on their technical knowledge as well (Firemedic).
Anyways, looks like it is a company that cares about their reputation in every country that they deal in.
