Default SG windshield pics please?

Guys, wanting to order a different shield for the 06 bkack cherry street glide. I am 6' tall and the stock shiled is bearable, but messes with the glasses a little. Want to go slightly taller etc, but keep the look as low as possible. Read alot of old threads on here, and am considering the SSC Cee Bailey in a 9" (kinda like the different look), a clearview recurve 6 or 8?, one of the "half-moon" wings type that are wider out by the speakers, and /or a plain 6" fast aire....
Anyone got any pics of these? I know bounty is sporting a 6" Fast Air I think, what about the 9" SSC or a small clearview? Thanks!

Not sure about the others, but the ClearView for EG's is really "straight up & down" looking. I know someone that has one on an Ultra. He's about 6'6" and it's the tall shield. Looks kinda strange to me, but he loves it because "it works".

If ya don;t care about looks, then that may be an option, but for a SG..... well.... not me!

9" Fastaire, dark smoke in this pic. Good hi-way set-up with the deflectors and fork baffle!

I've got every windshield you mentioned. I have a 6" and a 9" opaque Half Moon with wings. An 8" Clearview with recurve tinted. A 9" (6") Cee Bailey SSC opaque. A 13" (10") Cee Bailey SSC. A couple of 9" Fast Aires and a couple of 10" Fast Aires. In order of effectiveness:

Cee Bailey SSC 13", which is a 10" standard windshield equivilent. Totally awesome windshield. The riding experience behind it is something one has to experience. I love the swoopy pulled back look toward the rider and think it adds a lot of zest to the SG's lines. Whenever I remove it, I find the stock the stock shapes to look somehow bland. Almost everytime I ride someone remarks how much they like the shield. They really look much better than pics portray.

Clearview 8" with recurve. Close to the Cee Bailey and a great riding experience. This windshield advertises to be as effective as one 1.5 to 2.0" higher. I believe it. If you like conventional looks and styling, this would be the one to get. I've even thought about getting a 9.5" one and probably will.

Fast Aire 10"ers out perform the 9"ers but don't look as good. For me at 6' though, the difference is pretty significant. Still I could ride cross country with a 9" Fast Aire and not feel underequiped.

The Half Moons work, and if I remember quite well, even the 6" but honestly that is a windshield style that grew very old for me pretty quickly.

Interestingly enough the absolute worst performer on my SG is the Cee Bailey 9" (6") shield. It seems to create more turbulence than deflect it.

I've also wanted to find a 6" windshield that looked sleek and cool and offered a great ride, but haven't yet. I honestly believe fairings require at least an 8" shield. Still looks pretty good at that height up to 10" IMO.
Sometimes I even look at the totally clear 12" stockers on EG's and think they look ok. When the windshield is clear, it makes far less of a statement on the overall style factor.

I'm 6' and the Fast Air 8" works for me I tried the 6" first and it just wasn't enough.

I'm 6'1" and I use two different windshields. I have a 9" HD that I look over and use when it's warm and a 15" HD that I look through for this time of year. The top of the standard HD heigh hits me right in my line of sight so I'm not a big fan.

Thanks for all the replies guys...good info and pics. From what it seems I guess, for me , its either going to be looks, or effectiveness. Doesnt seem you can have both. Everybodys taste is different too. Add to that that I came from a 06 base model Heritage, and this is my first bagger doesnt help.
Now that I see some, I am leaning toward a SSC like a 12"....sounds like they are somewhat effective, and I for one like the flowing lines with the fairing. The clearview, although effective, looks straight up and down kinda.. Maybe a plain taller FastAir for a long run maybe...
Thanks again, now I can make a little more educated guess. But like everything else, it will probably be trial and error with 2 or 3 extras laying around when its done...lol
