09 wheel bering removal install tool?
Any alternatives out there besides the JIMS tool? With all the bearing problems I plan to do my own to save a bit of money and have peace of mind.

To do the install, I use a big 3/4" threaded rod with huge washers and nuts. I found a washer that was just slightly smaller than the outer diameter than the bearing. I also found one larger than the bearing. The larger one and a nut go on the one side, the other gets the bearing, washer, and nut, thread it in till the bearing is fully seated. Then do the other side. Getting them out, I have a Georges garage tool for that.
