Default Good to hear...

that you are still riding. I've read your prior posts and am sorry to hear about your accident. I've got several riding buddies who ride Beamers and you made a good choice. There is no "one good brand" to ride these days is there?Dene

Your BMW is a beautiful bike. I've been very close to buying a BMW myself several times. Congratulations! Enjoy your new ride!

Glad to hear you're healing well, but I think you hit you head harder than the doctors realize ! I've owned two Beemers........you're not kidding anybody, they have about as much a sense of "soul" as your lawn mower.

Over the years (I have been riding since 1972) I have found that people often equate soul based on performance and reliability the less performance and reliability the greater the soul. good bad or indifferent most post evos don't have much soul lol. but they are still enjoyable as heck to drive just like a beemer is enjoyable to drive. I have had over 25 motorcycles and there are only 2 that I have regretted selling 1977 cb750F and 1999 R1100S.

I could never own a BMW after owning one of their cars but I will say that's a snazzy ride man.

I keep thinking about a BMW Dual Sport myself but I would keep my Street Glide. Out here in the Nevada desert there are more dirt roads than paved.

I'm sure it the right choice for you, Congrats!

First off, glad you doing OK, and getting to ride again.
That's a sweet bike, I've often looked at a BMW, but they are way to tall for me...

Knees in the breeze is all that matters, enjoy the bike and be safe...
