Default Arnott Premium or Bilstein air ride?

For any of you who have tried both. Which is better? Is it worth the extra $ for the 11 way adjustable or save the $ and get the bilstein. Also has anyone tried the platinum kit yaffe offers? with the so called infinite adjustment. And where is the best price for any of these setups?

thanks

Save the money and build your own. Look at the post named air ride installed.

I've got the Platinum setup. It's been around for a while (I put mine on in '07) direct from Platinum Air (yaffe just re-sells it). Great system, you can adjust both the height and rebound(dampening) Real high quality stuff and rides great. Look up Platinum Air and call Mike, he'll explain the system and is very helpful.

I have tried both arnott systems and IMO the Aldens seem to ride better. That being said,I'm going to try out the Monroe shocks talked about on the forum and see if its a better ride yet.

The Platinum allows you to adjust rebound independently of the ride height height with a separate switch. The Arnott has an 11 way adjuster on top of the shock as well as a ride height switch. The platinum will allow more and better adjustment and fine tuning for a bagger.

I don;t ride a bagger so I really don;t know which operates better, but logic would state that the finer tuning system would provide the better ride. Mike from Platinum is standing by to take your calls right now. Nothing wrong with Arnott either.

Can't speak to the Bilsteins, but I have the Aldan's and I am very happy with them.
