Default Screamin' Eagle 120R Purchase...

After a long down time earlier this year while building my 96 into a 107 with Axtell Jugs/Cylinders, headwork by Scott's crew at Hillside, a Revolution Performance EMS, Wood 555 cams and lifters, SE Pushrods and an HPI TBI...and being pretty darn happy with it...I read one too many stories about the SE120R. So...with a complete price list of all of my parts from Lake Shore and Surdyke in hand, I marched in to my local dealer to see what they could do.

Well...to make a long morning at the dealer with the Parts Department Manager and my favorite parts person a short story...they matched my online pricing (including tax) to the dollar! So...I am now officially broke and am waiting on the delivery of my new, totally bad *** SE120R! I ordered the motor, SE 58mm TBI with high-flow injectors, a new EMS (I want to keep my RevPerf EMS to sell with my 107), a SE Pro Tuner with cables and DVD, and an ACR cable!

My hat is off to Harley Davidson of Pensacola...and John and Mike in the Parts Department! They went the extra mile to take good care of a good customer...and I couldn't be happier!

Now...how to practice being patient while I wait for the MOCO to deliver my new toy! Sigh...

Happy New Year to all...and ride safe!

EMS AND a SEPST are incompatible. It is either one or another.

I would go with the SEPST as a 120r is TOTALLY different animal. And NEEDS a good custom tune.

I'm gonna put her together to ride...and I want to ride the hell out of it! I will do nothing else to this motor. I missed most of the 2011 riding season because of work and having my ride torn down for one reason, or another, during my build. That's a huge reason I went with a complete setup. The shipping and waiting of parts and pieces is a killer when your trying to do something like build an engine.

The folks at HD of Pensacola are nothing less than superb! I've purchased three bikes from them and think they would stand on their heads to please any customer...not just me! They know I shop for a lot of parts on the Internet...and I don't even try to negotiate for the small stuff I need right away or it's not worth having to pay the shipping. But...I wanted to give them a shot at this large of a purchase...and they did better than I had ever hoped for with the deal I got!

My bad, Richard. I tripped over my own words here. My old computer (EMS) was custom flashed by Revolution Performance...so I'll remove it and the O2 sensors that came with it and keep it with the 107". It works really well with my build. This meant I had to buy another EMS (with no flash)...and I purchased the SEPST to be flashed on to it.

I hope I said that right.

you lucky bastard, not only for the SE120R but to have a Dealership near you who cares about their customers and will work with them. The Dealerships out here have the "take it or leave" attitude."
