Default LRS windshield

Looking to get a new windshield for my FLHTC, I ride 2 up 80% of the time so I'm trying to help my wife out a little. I love the looks of the Ultra series shield but was reading about the Flat Top and how it throws the wind over the rider as well, not as crazy about the looks. Anyone have any opinion on either of these when riding with a pass?

I run the 8" LRS ultra on mine and my wife wears an HJC IS-33 helment with the pull down face shield and all is well.

This is the 9" Ultra on mine. It does as good deflecting wind as a few others I have tried. It replaced an 8.5" Klock Werks, and provides a little better wind management for me but not quite as good for my passenger. The low cost of the LRS is very attractive, and it performs well. This is what LRS calls "medium tint", which is just a tad too dark for me. But I think it looks good on the bike!

PastonJohn, how tall are you? I have a 10" stock style shield on mine now.

I'm 6'3" and have the 12" flat top in light tint. Throws the air over the top and yet you can still see through it if need be. Nice product ....

About 6'2" in the mornings here (feel like about 5'9" by the end of the day!) with LRS 10" flip type light tint shield & love it!

Horseplay, I am 5'10" and almost that big around! The stock windshield (12"?) put the edge right in my line of sight, and the 9" LRS has me looking comfortably over the windshield.

I have the 8" Ultra and it's a bit low for the cold weather. I'm keeping it for the summer. I'm ordering the 11" next week.
It looks good, works great and is a lot cheaper than the Werks shield.
