Did you collect and send them all of the "support data" like you were supposed to?
You can't just scream "is broke, you fix!"
TM has largely automated setup built right into their software to provide them with all the info they need to be able diagnose and trouble shoot your problem. If you don't want to or are unwilling to use it then that is your problem.
I used to work tech support, got a call one day...
Customer - My XXXX equipment is broke, how do I fix it?
Me - Sir, what kind of XXXX equipment do you have?
Customer - The blue kind. (All of our equipment was painted blue)
Me - Sir what kind of blue XXXX equipment do you have?
Customer - It's mounted on a robot! (All of our equipment was robot mounted)
Me - Sir, I need more info to be able to help you.
Customer - (screaming and nasty) Can't you fix your own equipment? Are you so incompetent you can't help me...ect.
******* finally demanded to talk to my boss. Turns out he (the customer) had no idea what kind of equipment it was or how it was used...
I might be that ******* you're talking about, but with the AFR running at 18:1, I'm not going to ride around, collecting data and take a chance on burning up my engine. The header pipes are cooked from however long I ran it before I found out what AFR I was running at. I'm just hoping it hasn't done any long term damage. I know I'm not one of those super intelligent tech guys like you, but believe it or not, I do know a thing or two about engines. If you can figure out how to get the data without running my bike at 18:1 AFR, let me know. If not, try to help some other *******. Thanks

Reason: bad spelling

1) I just want it to be clear that I did not use the term "*******", you did...
2) You could ride around with your AFR at 18:1, or you could pitch a bitch on this forum or maybe, just maybe you could try reading the instructions...
"If you can figure out how to get the data without running my bike at 18:1 AFR, let me know"
Gathering Tmax support data does not require that you run your engine. Seriously, try reading from page 105 in the tuning manual. It tells you step by step how to collect the data and how to send it to them for help...
If there is anything else you need to know please feel free to ask...
Yeah, I was wondering what needs to be done to turn this economy around and why does diesel cost so much. Sorry, I didn't know when you said: "******* finally demanded to talk to my boss. Turns out he (the customer) had no idea what kind of equipment it was or how it was used..." you wasn't using the term *******, but I'm not a tech, so who knew. Also, I thought this was a help forum, not a show your arrogance forum. My bad. I'll refrain from posting here and try to find the pitch a bitch forum. Oh yeah, global warming. Is that for real? Thank you so much for sharing your vast knowledge. I am totally humbled.

You are right I did use the term *******. What I should have said is that I didn't call you one...
This is a help forum and I have been trying to help you repeatedly. Once again try reading from page 105 in the tuning manual... Heck if you would just ask for help, I or someone else would be willing to walk you thru gathering the "support data". Instead all you did was bitch about TM. I can't help you with that...
I don't suppose after all this you are actually planning to send Tmax your "support daata" are you... I would actually be interested in finding out what the cause really is...
magna3500hd, I do not know specifically what you have tried so far or what you have for mods on your bike however I would like to offer some support to get your Thundermax working properly. You are welcome to contact me at 877-729-4754. We work with Thundermax pretty extensively and have seen very few issues, and there are a few simple things we can have you check. If needed we can get the powers that be involved from Zippers as well
Magna I would take Jamie up on the offer extended. Just another example of how he's willing to help, and I bet your TMax didn't come from him. Hope all turns out well and the problem is solved soon, keep us posted.
