Gaterman Lifters
#21
And the stock Harley lifters are made in Mexico.
Not everything manufactured in China is crap. If they maintain US specs they can do good work. I am running a set of Gatermans and I can say I really like them. I have a Wood TW-888 cam, Zipper's dual piston tensioners, and the Axtell oil by-pass system. I can honestly say that it is quieter than stock. I have recently ridden two different stock Road Glides, a '12 & '13, and my bike has less valve train noise than either. I was really worried that when I installed the TW-888's that my noise levels would increase, but it didn't work like that. I have spent hundreds of dollars chasing the valve train noise in this bike and this combination, although not inexpensive, seems to have finally made the difference. The Gatermans are adjusted to .125" depth, 3 turns out on SE tapered pushrods.
They are a very good, high quality, reasonably priced lifter, specially designed for HD engines. They are manufactured in China to US design and quality standards
