I want to put some guards on my 2012 SG, not the full wrap around, just the front down tube.....the set for sell is from a 07, will these work on a 2012? Frame changes and all...like I said, just the fron down tubes and under bag supports?

Thanks

I added saddlebag guards to my 07 FLHT. The supports that I took off were 49206-04 SUPPORT, left (chrome) and 49207-04 SUPPORT, right (chrome).
They can be seen as 17 in this link. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....dmc&A=516&B=60

I still have them and would be willing to sell them.

BTW - Those are the stock mounts for the rails - Added some washers and what not to make those studs stay in firm. Gets a lot of nods... :-)
I thought about it but want sure what to plug the holes with....spikes are always good...looks great!

I didnt do that..... i just copied the pics in my reply of how i liked it. Check a few prior for the original poster. Although unless they are special....you can find those on ebay and i was able to get spikes from a local cycle shop that has em in stock or can order for me too. Just know your bolt and thread size so ya order the right ones.

The saddlebag supports changed with the 09 model year changes. 07 bag supports won't fit your bike.

I have an 07 ultra and did the same mod. it's been a while & i'm at work so i don't have part number. you'll need another part that supports rear fender. it is oem on 07 roadking w/hardbags.
