Does anyone have some suggestions about wiring CycleVision's Bag Lites into the rear wiring harness of an 01 FLHTC? I was given the lights and they are not plug and play ready. The plugs have been cut off and have bear wire on the ends. I have called CycleVision and they have been insistent that I purchase the adapter. That doesn't help me because of the lack of plugs on the lights. (that and I'm cheap!)
The idea is to install the lights in my bags and remove the stock turn signals. I would like to have them set up to be run/brake/turn. I have searched forums and read everything I can about wiring taillights. Maybe I've missed a thread that talks about something like my question. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Either go back to CycleVision and get the adapter or go to Ridetime and get one.
If your not going to spend the money on one, then you need to go to the dealer and get the electrical wiring book for your year / model and cut and splice into your wiring harness.
Right. I have the wiring diagrams. Is there anyone who might give some suggestions for the splicing. I'm not real sure about the wire to wire connections.
