Thanks JC, very nice T Type. I used to work for a Buick Dealer, and I had a white T Type that I bought brand new.

Yes, I have a 69 GS400 I've owned for 26 years, and a 71GS Stage 1

Two beautiful cars! I really like the Stage 1 car. Here are a few more of mine.

I and my son have a total of 9 HD's from 06 on that have been all over the US and Canada. Not a single shift lever problem. We both do our own services and follow every maintenance requirement in the service manual.

I wonder if that is why there has been no failures. Maybe the others including the dealers don't really do everything at the service intervals.

If it were truly a bad part we would replaced a couple by now.

Headed to the eastern part of Canada the the US north east this summer. I'll let you know it they keep on shifting.

It was an aftermarket package offered by Buick and done by SLP. They offered 3 Stages of modifications. First stage was an appearance package and the second two stages were different levels of performance.

Thank you JC, I really don't want to turn this into a "Buick Thread", but maybe we can hook up this summer and exchange Buick talk. I'm only an hour or so from Pittsburgh, just 15 minutes or so accross the PA Line into Ohio. I did Decat my stock Header Pipe just like your pictures from a thread that you had posted. Thank you for your help with that.

So it looks like this new Shift Rod get's positioned on the "outside" of the front lever ? Mine should be here in a few days.

lh4x4, I understand what your saying, I do. The Billet Rod looks cool though, and you get those nice Heim Joints, instead of those Mickey Mouse ones that HD uses. I did install the $100 Billet HD Road King one onto my 2009 FLHRC that I sold, and I did notice a difference from the stock HD one. I actually keep that stock 2009 Lever in the bottom of my saddle bag in my 2012 FLHTC. You just never know

I ordered last sunday, I have not seen a tracking number yet. I did get an acknowledgement and my order says it has been processed but nothing received yet. In contrast on Monday I ordered a set of bag locks from Bruckus and they were here Saturday.
