Hey guys while waiting on my 2012 SG to be delivered to my local HD shop, I had a friend pass away and I was able to pick up his 2011 RG with low miles and loaded. Had the ABS, security, and cruise which I wasn't going to be able to afford on the 2012. So I was wanting to know if anyone ever converted their RG shark nose, to a SG batwing and if so whats an educated guess on the cost and what issues will I run into?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry to hear about your friend passing, thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Now.......on the other note, why would you want to? Nothing better than the sharknose club JMO
I've thought about goin the opposite way more than a few times (sg -> rg)...If Youre getting the SG already, I like the idea of riding both as is.....being able to swap back and forth on a whim would be pretty nice, and the rg could stay a tribute to your friend
I cant imagine anyone actually preferring a Street Glide over a Roadglide ?? Have you ridden the Road Glide?? Ride it first and you'll probably change your mind....

Yeah, I have road them both. It is just the SG look that I like a lot more. The functionality of the RG is great that you have storage in the shark nose fairing. It's just the look that gets me.
