Rather than change mufflers, seat, add lots of chrome, bore engine, change cams and on and on and on. Why not buy a S.E. U. C. ??? The last time I looked they came with all that stuff. and ride on. I talked my wife out of buying one. I dont like all that shiny stuff to polish. and it hurts my eyes on a sunny day.
Because all you have that way is a bike that is identical to every other SEUC on the road.
I did a lot of work to my bike & spent quite a bit, but it is totally unique(If I park it in Sturgis, there won't be 30 others identical to it parked in the lot when I return)
Well said!! However I would make a CVO unique to. It is just a blank canvass like any other bike!!

DI, a little off topic but what kind of brakes do you have on the front of your bike? I have a set of the spun aluminum wheels(SE Road King circa 2003) on my SG and I have been considering going to a single disc on the lft side to show case the wheel a little more. Are your brakes adequate for spirited riding? Back on the subject, I like the SE bikes simply because of all the extra chrome that comes stock with them and if I had one the only thing I would change would be the exhaust. A extra little chrome item here and there too of course
