I was thinking about the V & H High Outputs too but my motor buildout didn't really put me in a "High Output" need. Like I said, I've heard the reverb on my Oval Slipons off of my cycle trailer and they are low, throaty but down drown out the stereo.
I'm running the V&H Dresser Duals with Monster Ovals and man does it sound amazing. Reminds me of an old muscle car.
Nice deep troaty sound but has a nice quite idle.
I've got a video on here of my setup.
No scraping yet.
I had Rush on the Classic too. 2.5 baffle. It's nice, but I'm just one of those guys who's never satisfied. I heard that Hi Output slip-on & it was just alot lower & throatier & rumblier & kick-assier. I liked it.
I've had a set of Rush slip-ons w/ 2" baffles on my '08 R/G for 48k miles
and really liked them.
Due to an a$$hole in Lake Placid running a red light last summer, I will
be installing a new set of slip-ons for this coming season.
I decided to try the Big Louie's w/ 2" baffles....Wondering how they
compare to the older Rush slip-ons w/ same sized baffles
Guess I'll know in 3 months

I had the 3.5 Rush on my Classic, with the 2.5 baffle. I now have the Big Louie with the 2.5 baffle on my 103 Limited Ultra. When Big Louie is brand new, it'll sound almost like yours now, after the packing burned off, after a few thousand miles. They get louder as that packing burns off from around the baffle.
Hey gang, my indy friend swears by Freedom headers and mufflers. Good sound, quality, and a helluva lot cheaper than V & H and Reinharts. check them out!
