I am wanting to swap out my stock chrome console with a matte black one. Does anyone know of an OEM part number to look up. I am not necessarily wanting a console like on the Ultras but if it will fit and make it black than i will go with it. Just main thing is I am wanting to black out the whole bike and that is one thing that the chrome needs to go away on.
I dont think anyone makes a black console..theys one for sale in tthe classifieds.its black powder coated looks nice or just get your done.fat baggers sells a painted console

I bought a matte (denim) black console for my '11 FLTRX on eBay. Here is the seller's id voodoo041672 He sells a lot of black powdercoated parts in any finish you want. Then you can recoup the cost by selling your chrome one. I'm in the process of doing the whole bike.
Thanks MichiganRider! I contacted him a little bit ago and already got a response back from him. He seems really nice and it is nice that he buys the part brand new and then powder coats it. Thanks for the insight!
Take yours off & get it powdercoated...much cheaper than buying new...JMO.
I did think about that but with trying to find someone to powder coat over here in Germany will probably take me longer than just buying one already done. But I will see what I cant do. But maybe if I wait until next Winter when I am not riding it I will take it off and have it powder coated. But for now it is on the slow boat over to me.
