custom dynamics moon shine problem

I asked about these at the CD trailer at Biketoberfest. Sales person told me they weren't happy with them and were working on a redesign, so I didn't buy. I have CD tail light, rear turn signals, tour pack lights, accent lighting, load equalizer... Everything I have is working great.
Anybody else hear anything about a redesign on these?

Just a follow-up post, the following business day after I reported the issues to them through their website--they called me! Anyway, they sent me a replacement "bulb" at no charge. I heard they had good service and turns out it's true.
