Audison 6.5 voce same company that makes Hertz speakers! I'm using a 400 x 4 amp each speacker has it's own channel. I'm very pleased with the sound at highway speeds and parked. If I had to do it again, I would do it the same way.
Boom! are a good upgrade for the price and the goals in mind of their target audience. Get them with Chrome Cash or on a sale and they are reasonalby priced. "Motorcycle" speakers are overpriced in general. IMO go with a marine grade speaker and amp, you won't be out much more money and you will be very happy. If you are "only" planning on doing speakers, the Boom! will be a solid improvement over stock.
If anyone has seen any speaker comparisons, please share the info. It would be interesting to hear what the experts say about Hog Tunes, Harley Boom and J&M.
