Default SE 204's, 1.725:1 Rocker Arms and Doing the work...

I know we could discuss the merits of these cams and the SE Rocker Arms, but after gathering loads of information, several discussions with builders and tuners, and evaluating my scoot/riding style this is the setup I'm going with. My question is regarding the Rockers and their installation...first hand experience with changing them, needed tools, hits and advice for all that have experience in changing these out.
Thanks,
A

rocker arms are easy to change out. Just need basic tools. a set of 1/2 and 7/16" torq adpaptors make the job easier.

I wouldn't expect there to be any problems as the rockers are easy to change, but I would look at the clearance at the pushrod where it comes through the rocker box, and also make sure the rocker isn't slipping off the head of the valve stem tip, I would check those things just to be on the safe side, not likely to happen, but I've seen it happen.

I'd been running that setup for the last couple of years. Just swapped the stock rockers back in tonight as part of my 107 build. The rockers are simple to change. You have to pull the gas tank (some guys just lift it, but it's easier to get it out of the way) and the rocker covers. Pull the breather and the rocker arm support plate. Once the rocker support bolts are out, the rocker arm shaft can be coaxed out with a brass drift. Pay attention to which shaft came out of which side so they can go back together the same way. There's a notch in the rocker arm shaft that one of the bolts fits into. You drive that end out first.

It goes back together the same way. The notch has to align in the bolt bore, the bolt holds the shaft in place, there's no snap ring or anything like that. Simple job. Feel free to pm if you have any questions when you get after it.

I have decided on the se204 also and just don't know enough about the 1.725 rocker. Seems to show up as a popular combo. I do know it increases lift but do I need/want this with stock head? I have to get up with mech. once more to discuss final compression and schedule me in. Originally thought of doing this myself but went from a cam to 103 & cam & TTS. Thanks for any input.
