I use the Corbin Classic solo which covers (w/ the seat's "skirt") the fender mounting bolts in the fender
Likewise.
There's just enough space to slip the tongue of a pillion under the back, otherwise, the rear of the seat comes all the way down to the fender and covers up the mounting bolts. There's a key lock that fastens the seat to the bracket, to get the seat off, you just turn the key. I've got a decorative plug in the rearmost fender nut where the back of the pillion attaches.

The key lock is a great feature; and, not having to deal with any hardware (and a tool to remove them) to remove the seat is and added plus IMO.
I like the bolt and those covers that go on the 2/4 point mounts when not in use. I will typically go with the HD solo rack and just cover the backmost mounting points.
