Just looked at it - great write up - question on the quick release fuel line - is there not gas flowing everywhere at that point or does the quick release just pop off and prevent the flood?
No, there's a check valve. Like an air valve system.
yes i did, but unfortunately I can't remember the price.
Sorry
Thanks for your response. But I was actually asking about how much longer on the clutch cable and brake line you had to go. Is 6" extension going to be enough? Or 8"?
For 12.5" you can probably get away with +4". If you have ABS I'd go +6 on the brake line to be safe. I have +6 clutch/brake for my 14"s and the brake line is a little tight, had to reroute it slightly in it's support channel and in the nacelle.

I went with +6 clutch cable and brake line (w/ABS) on my Santee 11" mini-apes and they are just about perfect. And the 18 gauge primary wire that I used to wire internally, I cut them all at 15" and barely made it, 18" would have been best.

Man, it would be way to easy if you could just find a store somewhere that stocked this stuff so you could see it before you buy.

I'm pretty lucky here in MN (Well, except fpr those 6-month Winters!), because I am less than an hour from the Dennis Kirk Stores. They carry so many items to choose from. I made the decision a few years ago to go with the Wild-1 RKII bars by trying them on for size at DK.
DK also carries the Santee 11" bars, when in stock, so I'm planning a trip to Rush City, once we get those mid-40° days back! I'm sure I'll go that route... but it's mice to feel the product before the purchase. The RKII bars are really nice, it's just that I prefer a more aggressive riding/hand position.
although I am taking a little road trip at the end of May to the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee and then proceeding north up to Little Chute, WI
to have FUEL MOTO do a Woods TW555 cam install for me,....I do know my limits 'sometimes'
Have you looked into the TW777's yet? Great power increase over the 555's. Truly a nice cam... with great upside!!
My bike is at the indy as we speak and depending on how much getting the rocker box cover seals and cam tensioners changed cost I'm gonna have him put on Burly Bar 14" apes on my RK. I too just don't have the free time to tackle it myself.
