I just finished putting Luxeon Leds on my son's Ultra. We removed all taillights, running, and turn signals. The new rear brake and running lights are 9 inch teardrops that are now part of his hard bags. We drilled a 5/16 inch hole under each teardrop and install Luxeon ambers for rear turn signals. We also did the same to the front batwing fairing with two more amber Leds. It really cleaned up the look of the bike. When you compare his new set to my stock lights on my 2000 Rk, it looks like mine are illuminated by candles. He's in the process of machining 3 inch stainless spots that will get super bright Leds that will put out more light than his current high beams. All the stuff was made by me. Total cost for all the the Leds, diodes, resistors and wiring was just under $200.00 I'll try and post pics later.
