Got a really nice set of rush slash down w 2-1/4 baffled just few miles. Have been run, but as new in box. Good price and have a great sound. Changed for full v&h system.
I'm looking for the best slips-ons for my FLHTC with Cobra true duals. I looking for goos sound, not too loud, but a good deep rumble which give good perfromance. Any recommendation?
Thanks
Used to run V & H 4" basic slash cuts on my 00 RG and was happy with how they sounded & performed. Now I ride an 09 RG and have RC Components 4" slash cuts on it and am real happy with the deep, thoaty sound from them. They are pretty mellow on the hwy. but really bark when you crack the throttle.
I need help in searching for some slip ons for my 2012 Ultra. I heard of Rolling Thunder Pipes. I got onto there web site and have requested an update to see if they actually have slip ons for the 2012, but there has been no reply.
Has anyone bought any for my type bike? OR Where else can one purchase these same pipes?
With your Cobra true dual header, I would get FuelMoto's 4" Jackpot's with the quiet baffle. You'll get the deep throated harley growl you want without the raspy sound and losing low end. I've tried a lot of exhaust over the years and IMO you cant beat the quality, sound and price of Jackpot's.
I just called over to FuelMoto for the Forum discount price and told the price on the website is what we pay...I asked wheres the discount to forum members and was told the pipes are already discounted.....there are other slip- ons with the same sound priced better than $400 shipped..besides i dont hate the sound of my stock pipes without the Cat enough to spend $400. Somewhere along the mod rabbit hole youve got to ask yourself when its smart and when its not.
I just put Supertrapp SE Slip ons on my 2012 Limited. Much deeper sound at idle, and just a little louder than stock. Supertrapp has a lot of dyno and sound test info on their website. These show to be 3db louder and 10-12% more HP and Torque over stock.
Got a stock 02 ultra - The owner had a set of Hooker Tuned Flow which at the time sounded good - Only problem - They were loud at 70-75 - Went with Rolling Thunder - Nice sound, good price, US made - Ran those for a couple years - Buddy of mine just installed a set of Rineharts 4.0 true duels and sold me his Rinehart 3.5's for $50...They have 24k on them - I do like the sound and could not pass up on the price -

Good to hear you like the RCs. I was looking hard at them when I changed pipes but at the time there were not many reviews. Great looking pipes and I like that you have a no charge option of tips.
