NICE RIDE BUTCHER. is that a ultra or classic? why do you leave the rear floor boards on?
It's a 'Police' Classic (FLHTP), bought new. Rear boards are there for when I ride the bike in 2-up version. Bike is set up to run multiple configurations (solo, solo w/rack, solo w/1969 TP, 2-up, 2-up w/King TP).
Back to the OP's thread. Because I run those set-ups, I too am running the seat screw shown by Dr. Tiki in that pic. When I can get around to finishing my powdercoating I'm going to do that little screw also. Only thing is, the knurls on that seat screw aren't that 'grippy' to begin with. The little plastic piece HD has does virtually disappear on dark colored bikes, if that helps you mudbeast2.
