I have a pair of SE255 cams 4 Sale $150 Plus shipping. . The cams have about 6000 miles on them. I have a 2010 limited. With the 255 cams and SE race tuner(not street one), and different exhaust, Dynoed at 84 HP. The Woods cams are excellent cam, however to get the best performance you would need to have headwork.
I have upgraded to a 107, headwork, woods cams and BUb exhauts. It's all about how much you want to spend.
Hello I have a 2007 ultra with a 103 big bore kit stock cams and stock heads what cam would you recomend if keeping stock heads mostly 2 up riding ?
When you did the big bore kit, did you change to a mls head gasket? Did you do a deck check or cc your chambers? With the heads off, I would be looking to equalize the chambers and bump the compression just a little, which can have a significant impact on which cams you will choose. I would not assume you have the same compression as an otherwise stock 103er.
Without knowing your riding style I don't know how anyone can even recommend anything.
Now if you want a torque cam that comes on early that will just bolt in,and work with the stock rev limit the 255s are hard to beat. And if you go through the head you can re-use all your stock components. If not you will need new pushrods.
If you like to rev er up and ride more aggressively guys are having good results with the 777s. They are a higher lift versions of the 555s.
I bought a pair of t6-6 cams. With the heads I bought I should hit 100/sq but I ride aggressively for the most part.
THE 103 KIT was already installed when I bought the bike used it had 8500 miles on it. It now has 26,000 on it and I don't know what has all been done but i think it is all stock except for the 103 and air cleaner I had a power commander put on it. woods tw555 have been recommended,. Wondering if this is a good choice? not really looking for a tire smoker just want to get up the hill
