I had it done, but only lowered mine 1.25" cause of crappy roads in Michigan. I am a very happy customer.

You might consider having your seat lowerd buy MeanCity .
I am short i sent my stock FLHRC seat to them have them narrow it a cpl inchs , lower it a cpl inchs and add memory foam for comfort .
The seat is now a cpl inchs narrower and a cpl inchs lower ,looks good, very comfy after the 600 mile breakin, thrifty price way cheaper than buying a new low seat .
It only coast me $18.50 USPS with insurance. Allen shipped it back FedX only $15 .
Total cost including shipping was just under $150 way cheaper than buying a new low seat .

I just got a set of Phoenix Customs rebuilt 11" Bitchin Bagger Drop shocks .
i will put on soon as i get a few warm days .
will let you know how they work out .UPDATE ! UPDATE ! Iinstalled the BB shocks great .
The bike rides better no bottoming out 25psi solo 35psi two up.

Also if being short makes it had to put the jiffystand up or down HD makes a great kickstand exstention kit for about $30.

Also if you find your bike sets up to straight after lowering Drag Specialtys makes a KickStand Wedge kit that changes the angle of the bike so it leans over farther on the kickstand . This is also more thrifty than buying a shorter kickstand.

I also looking at doing that also. I think I am going to go with the Phoenix Customs shocks, Mean City seat mods, and also going to put the trike tripple trees on with the Progressive Monotube 1" drop on the front.

If I can't touch flat footed then, well I guess I will be SOL! Lol.

I'm 5'7" w/ 29" inseam. 160#, ride solo, but load down when traveling. Seat modified by MeanCityCycle, Phoenix Customs' 10.75" rear shocks w/ 30# pressure, HD lowered front springs. Raised and out 3/4" floor board by Kury.

Early on put 15# on rear shocks, must have hit a good bump somewhere, sometime, the drive belt rubbed against battery box, making a slight grove. Went up to 30#, no issue since then. Ride OK, definitely can tell rear is a little stiff.

Still cannot flat foot totally unless I stand up. No biggie at stop, rather challenging walking the bike backward trying to park and turn.
