Todays idiot is Tom. Tom hails from Largo Florida, his hobbies include doing his own 25k service. His other interests include tucking his battery tender lead over the rear exhaust pipe to get it out of the way then taking off for a test ride without taking it off the pipe. His newest hobby is peeling melted plastic off his chrome! If you see Tom be sure to whack him in the back of the head, thanks!
Can't believe it, I used my torque wrench on all the bolts, used the right fluids in all 3 holes got everything right, well almost. Never never never tell yourself you won't forget it because you will Other than that it all went great!
Tom you moron. Meet Jim also moron on occasion as well. Take that tender lead and bring it down behind the plate to where your plug wires are mounted to the steal plate. Run it behind that plate. Put a tie rap thru one of the holes on that plate and strap the tender wire to it. When you need the tender plug slide your finger behind the plate and flip it out. When done charging discovery charger and cap tender lead and put it back behind plate. Good luck getting the rubber marks off the exhaust pipe. Try naphtha.
Great post. It's good to be able to laugh at ourselves sometimes. We've all done something similar, just haven't put it across as humorously as you have. Good luck peeling.
...why don't you all pitch in and buy Tom a Brand New Battery Tender Wiring Harness. I would but I'm broke and I don't even have a working battery tender.
