Actually, assuming 20K is the MSRP, the "stealer" probably made about $6K in gross revenue on your bike, and from Moco's 4Q11 financials, the owners of Moco made $560 in profit, so it cost Moco $13,440 to build your bike. This assumes their profit margin on their bikes is the same as other items they sell including accessories and apparel which most likely is not the case.
The stealer's 6K is used to pay the rent, staffing and other costs of having a physical retail establishment.
