Just bought a 2012 FLHX in Big Blue Pearl yesterday. Traded in my 07 CVO RK. I had a Corbin Dual Tour seat on the RK which I liked. I am about 6'4" and will need a different seat. May go with another Corbin when in Daytona in March, but wondering if anyone has experience with the HD TallBoy seat?
Sorry can't help you with the seat issue, was curious why after being "spoiled" with CVO Model , you did not replace with another CVO model ? Anyways that BBP is a hell of a colour , and especially in that model. Seems to be mighty popular this season, mind you some other colours might be accused of being a bit "lacking" but that is another thread.

Had 27k miles on the CVO. Saw the BBP and fell in love with it. Traded for $4k out of pocket. Picked up bigger tank, new frame and ABS!
I had a TallBoy Seat on my FLHRC. I am also 6'4". It was comfortable and gave me the leg room I needed. However..it was just so butt ugly. It just looked like it didn't belong. so I sold it and had my stock seat made into a "TallBoy" at Mean City Cycles. They moved the rise back 1" and added memory foam, and volia...I had a Tallboy Seat that looked stock.
I have had a Tallboy seat on every touring bike I've had. The older TB seat on the 97-07 moved you up and back. The newer version sits you close to stock but moves you back 2 inches. I think it is a very comfortable seat, the only downside is I don't think it is the prettiest looking seat. When I run mine I run the tp and that hides it a great deal. Hope this helps.
