I tried searching but I can't find it and I know things were mentioned somewhere about it.
Why does the new HD catalog state that taller bars for baggers do not fit 2008 abs models? I am sure people with 2008 models with abs had to have put taller bars on their bikes.
Throw enough money at any problem and it can be overcome. You can put any after market or HD bar on an 08 I have done it. You just need to be resourceful. There are plenty of companies willing to take your money and help you make it happen.
Put the Heritage bars on my son's 11 RGU, no problem. Perhaps those aren't as tall as the OP had in mind. Perhaps it's my ignorance, but I don't see what the bars have to do with ABS. Maybe it is when the brake system needs a longer front hose and there is that bleeding ABS brakes problem.

I know it has been done. But why say that? I just want to know what the difference is.
