Check out BR Custom Bars. This guy has more different bar styles than most anyone else. He builds them on demand to your specs. It takes a little longer that way but IMO well worth it.

Well decided on the PYO 10" bars in black. Bought them from a member on here and got them right away for a good price. Got everything I thought I would need to pull the wires thru.....shrinkwrap, chinese handcuff wire puller from Klein tools, wire lube and guitar string. Day before yesterday I start on removing the old bars and everything went without a hitch other than figuring out how to roll fairing forward to get at the handlebar bolts. Anyhow got them off and then removed controls/wiring. Made me a wiring schematic of the plugs and pulled the plugs apart. Removed the factory sheathing and put new 1/2" heat shrink on controls and 3/8" on the TBW wiring.

Yesterday I got everything out to start the pulling process. Dropped some fishing string with a small nut on the end thru and tied onto my guitar string and pulled back thru. Tied the guitar string to Klein tool and put my TBW harness into it. Got it about half way or better thru top bend and snap, yep guitar string broke. This slacked off my Klein tool and let my TBW harness come loose leaving my Klein tool in the bars, STUCK!! Oh my my, already having flashbacks of doing this 6 years ago on my FXST. I found a fishing jig and tied it up to the fishing line and went fishing for my Klein tool and got it after several attempts. IM PISSED now already.

I decided to call my local indy and see what he would charge me........."yep I can do it for around $50 bucks! SEE YOU IN 10 MINUTES!! I got there and he saw the strange top bend of the Yaffe bars and said, "well it may be a little more". I ask him if he thought he could get them done today and he said I should be able to. I handed him a $100 dollar bill and they were ready in less than 1.5 hours. BEST $100 BUCKS I HAVE SPENT IN ALONG TIME!! Got home and mounted them up so they felt best (nearly against the fairing) and routed the wires. A little tricky.....smaller hands would have helped. The left side controls gave me the most grief, TBW was simple.

I didnt really wana have to mess with the clutch and guess what, I DIDNT! Didnt do a thing to it except unbolt it from the stock bars and let it hang. Put PYO bars on and bolted it right back up, perfect! Got everything back on minus the outer fairing since Im waiting on my DDM HID kit to show up. Here is a nearly finished pic.

congrats for your choice. You'll have to change your mirrors too...

Do you have to swap out the mirrors? I like the fairing mounted ones and really want to keep them. Plus, I don't want the holes in the fairings even though I know you can cover them up and I plan on painting the fairing down the road anyways.

With the 10" bars you have to replace the mirrors. I ordered some cool Arlen Ness mirrors to put on the bars and will grab some plugs at the parts house. I would rather have to change mirrors than have my hands sticking above the fairing. My $.02 anyway.

Another selling point to the 10" bars is not having to change out any cables, wiring or brake lines.
