Question squeaky rear brake

So I have a 08 Ultra Anniversary. the rear brake keeps squeaking every few weeks. I wipe down the rotor and spray some brake cleaner in the pads but it returns. I was at the dealer talking about it and they have a "kit" but it only comes with ne pads. I was wondering if I can use reg auto disc brake quiet on the back of the pads. I think the "kit" it just to add their paste on the backside of the pads. I have 13 k on the original, I looked at the new ones and the thickness looks about the same as I have now on my bike. I plan on getting Lyndalls when they are due, but if the pads I have now or still decent why change so early. So if there is a way to quiet the ones i have for now until i replace them that would be a big help.

Just buy some brake pad goop from the auto store. I have to put it on my back brakes about every 6-8 months. I ride all year round.

Pull the pads and file a chamfer on the leading edges of the pad.

Do this and put the grease on the back of the pads and you will be good to go.
