Brake Pad Squeal

Are there any brake pads out there that don't squeal or is it the nature of the beast? I've tried brake grease on the back of the pads. I've tried anti sleaze on the back of the pads. I've tried beveling the leading edge of the pads. Nothing works. Anyone had luck with a particular brand or type of brake pad?

Take some 180 grit sandpaper to your rotors and remove the glaze on them. That and anti squeal works for me.

+1on the Lyndall pads with the anti squeal adhesive on the back of the pads. Was tired of the damn squeal every time I stopped. This solved my noisy brake problem.

Permatex and Loctite both make a good anti-squeal paste or aerosol. Like timbo stated, knock of the glazing. Never had an issue with squealing when using the paste... on any vehicle.
