It's going to cost you around 8,000.00 after all is said and done.

...... absolutely. It's for 'Race Track use Only' so they'll not guarantee any part of it.
........ i'm thinkin' the MoCo's real purpose is to get 'early adopters' to beta test it under touring conditions for a couple years (& pay for the privilege) before it becomes the new SE stock engine.

I'm thinkin the "race only" label is MOCO's way around meeting EPA standards for 2011 and later model years?

It can be a little cheaper than that, first by not buying the engine or any components at your local dealer. Mine cost $4,875 (no sales tax) +$170 shipping.

I was told $7500 minimum for engine, all additional parts and labor. Often overlooked is that an additional cost is going to be the proper exhaust system if you don't have it already. Also, I had a PCV tuner, and the dealership wasn't crazy about it. But alas, I decided the setup would be to loud for my touring bike, so I didn't do it. I would think that after sales tax and other "stuff", $8000 would be the very minimum.

I thought about the 120 also and figured even if I did it myself it would still be around 7k, with no warranty, I decided to do a 107 with heads and crank work, a few g's less, and reliable.

Lake Shore Harley Davidson for the 120R and all the needed componets, keep in mind my bike SG is a 2012 so I already the ACRs,Compensator and performing all my own labor. Here's my parts list & costs (no sales tax and free shipping except for the engine):

19220-12 ENG ASY,1962,SE 120,ALPHA $4,879.58
2 27796-08 HIGH FLOW INJECTOR KIT, 58MM $223.92
1 27713-08 HIGH FLOW 58MM EFI THROTTLE BY WIRE $353.96
1 37976-08A KIT-CLUTCH,RACE $199.96
1 37980-10 PERFORMANCE CLUTCH PLATES $135.96

I already was running a PCV and HD and SE Heavy breather. I could have still used my V&H Power Duals and Jackpot Pro Touring Exhaust, but decided to get Drago's Dragula for about $650. My intentions are to sell my 103" w/exhaust for approx 3k. Doing the calculations in my head I have about 6,300 invested with a possible 3,000 return = Net 3,000.
