I already was running a PCV and HD and SE Heavy breather. I could have still used my V&H Power Duals and Jackpot Pro Touring Exhaust, but decided to get Drago's Dragula for about $650. My intentions are to sell my 103" w/exhaust for approx 3k. Doing the calculations in my head I have about 6,300 invested with a possible 3,000 return = Net 3,000.
In your case it works out to be a bargin, I cant do my own work, and my 96 with 27k miles is a boat ancor worth what,,,,,,,,, $1500 tops? all in all its a toss up for me either get the 120. or a new ultra, my bike is paid for so to trade it and 8k or keep it and have a bike that runs like it should have from the factory. Thanks for all the info, and thanks to everybody for there imput!!
Totally agree. Since it went from 88 to 95, then 96 to 103 (and then 110), and now 103 as the base (yeah, there are still some models that come with the 96)....it's only a matter of time before the 110 is replaced with the 120 and it becomes the CVO engine.
But can you wait....?

........ i'm thinkin' the MoCo's real purpose is to get 'early adopters' to beta test it under touring conditions for a couple years (& pay for the privilege) before it becomes the new SE stock engine.
Waiting a little long to quote that wasn't ya, lol.. Its been 2 1/2 years since the statement you quoted was written, it still has not happened. MY guess is, its not going to happen for a few more years, especially with the new wet heads out.
