Not enough lately! We are still in a drought but have getting misters/sprinkles almost every day the past few weeks. Makes the ride into work and home wet but not enough to stop me. The D402's just make the bike feel like it's moving around even though I know it's not. E3's will be my next replacement instead of the stockers.

You can easily put the 160/80HB-16 E3 on the rear. I did on my 07 which would be the same in the rear as your 08. The 160/80 is 1/4" thicker in width (on our stock 3.00" width rims) and has plenty of clearance. The MU90HB-16 E3 comes out to about the same width as the stock MU85HB-16 402 tire.

Keep the slim white wall on...take a Black majic marker and black out the stripe...

Don't forget boys the 160/80 b16 is also a little taller 26.1 to 25.72 so for our 07 08 bikes with poor gearing it'll make it a little worse!

i'm in the same situation you are. on my 07, i went with those sizes and noticed no difference in the ride height. ride performance was great however

Don't think you have to worry!! From the Dunlop web site. The Elite 3 rear MU90B16 is 1/100 inch more in diameter and 6/100 inch more in width than the stock D402 MU85D16!!

For all of these various size options, be sure to verify the max load, should equal or exceed the load on the factory D402, especially if you go 2 up very much.

The Elite 3 MU90B16 actually is a load rating of 78H which is greater than the stock D402. Load rating of a 78H is 930# and stock D402/77H is 908#
