Default Carb Enricher

Guy at work has a 99 electric glide standard I believe. Carb bike
He says he pulls out the choke and buy the end of his driveway it goes off.
He says his bike does it automatically

Does the enricher go in all by itself when warm??

I almost got all the parts for the mm efi to carb switch.

Mine does -CV carb, S&S carb did not. On the CV it depends on the amount of tension you put on the retaining nut. There is not a self close mechanism like a car.

It's the motor vacuum that pulls it in, as mentioned above, a knurled plastic nit just inboard of the pull **** sets the tension- finger tight, no tools

I used to have a '98 carbed Sporty.

I learned the hard way how to adjust the enrichener tension.

First, loosen the metal 17mm nut on the outboard side.

Next, finger tighten the knurled plastic **** inboard of the mounting bracket just enough so that the **** stays out.

Then tighten the metal nut enough to hold the enrichener to the bracket.

Be careful not to over tighten.

Don't ask me how I know.
