Default Garage opener

Anyone installed the garage door opener that wires through the headlight switch? Saw it in the latest JP cycle catalog.

I have the H-D one that is wired into the bright light switch. The install was not difficult.

I also have the HD one installed. Very easy install and a neat gadget.

I installed it on a buddies bike, as others said, wasn't too hard. I installed an extra remote from my garage door opener and used odometer reset buttons and everything was less than $15 and I can open all 3 of my garage doors.

I have the headlight opener. if i was to do it again i would go with the custom install of remote (refered to earlier as $15 install .....search this site for it) sometimes i would like to use my clutch (gravel drive, door doesn'respond fast enough) but that is the hand to use the headlight switch. with the custom you can put the button anywhere you want either hand.

Is yours hooked to the black and white wires? Mine is and doesn't work at all. There is also a yellow wire on the headlight but I thought that was the low beam.
