HD one and worked great until I got a new chamberlain opener and now it won't work anymore. Got an email into chamberlain to hopefully resolve it. So if you have a newer opener with the fancy wall controll that has time and temp and motion sensor and all on it the HD will not work... looks like the transformer in the opener is not big enough to support another button which is all the HD reciever is..(a set of dry contacts that close when you flash your brites)
Bought a homelink out of a ford on e-bay reprogrammed it to my door. Then secured the middle button depressed with a piece of wood taped and zip tied. Installed in high beam circuit works great just hit high beam goes up hit it again door comes down. I think the project cost $20.00 depends on what you can get homelink for.

but what happens if you ride with your high beam on , will it burn out the unit
I soldered two wires to an extra remotes pc board and ran the wires to the monetary toggle on the steering head. The remote is under the seat next to the battery. Works like a charm.
Is yours hooked to the black and white wires? Mine is and doesn't work at all. There is also a yellow wire on the headlight but I thought that was the low beam.
You got the wiring right. Just make sure you have good contact. If you do I think you will find that you require the optional power supply to boost the power in the control circuit that activates the door. A good indication is to look at the box mounted on the wall and see if the red led is blinking slowly. If it is slow this is your problem for sure. Once you plug in the external power supply you will see the LED blink quickly. After you plug in the power supply, wait a few minutes before you try your high beams. You may have to relink your bike as per the instructions.
I got a extra remote for my opener programend it, wire it to the High beam head light
velcro it to the top of my radio
flip the high beams on and off when I hit the drive way!!!
cost 8.00
