Default Klock Werks vs Cee Baileys

Looking for opinions for Klock Werks vs Cee Bailey's Cee Devil? There is a huge difference in price, and wanted to know if there was an equal difference on performance.

TIA,

Mark

Default Klock Werks

I am only able to comment on the Klock Werks windshield.

8-1/2" on '09 EG. I am 6'1", running the standard seat. Over 24K miles, multiple long trips, weather from hot to cold, dust to snow and all in between.

I can see over the top of the windshield which I value as a big plus. The wind flips up over the top of my helmet by about a half a hand width.

Rain does the same thing for the most part. Entertaining to see the bugs headed straight at my face then flipping up and over as the wind pattern carries them away.

I can tell the difference to the stock windshield in the handling of the EG. The down force imparted on the front end vastly improves the overall stability.

Yes, it cost a bit, but well worth it to me.

I ordered mine through the local HD dealer I do business with. They ordered it from Drag Specialties. After a trip of 3,800 miles, about 9,500 miles total on the windshield, I noticed a stress crack starting from one of the bolt holes. I called KW, they asked me to see if Drag would warranty it through the Dealer and if not to have the dealer call them. Drag passed on offering any help and the parts manager was more than happy to call KW. KW shipped a new one to the Dealer, no charge, I swapped it out, gave the Dealer the old one, they shipped it back to KW at KW's expense as KW wanted to check out the stress crack.

I called KW and expressed my thanks for their effort and willingness to support their customers. Of course, the Dealer got the same comments as well.

Overall, great product, works as advertised, worth the cost to me and looks great IMHO.

I will purchase again as necessary.

Good luck, ride safe, have fun, be fair.

Mark,

You will definitely see a difference in stability between stock and KW. It provides 10lbs of down force at speeds above 50. I have a KW 6.5 and I can attest to the downforce. However, having never used Cee Bailey, it looks like it will be comparable to stock.

I've had many re-curve type windshields prior to Klock Works and would not go back. The front end has never felt so stable. Most dealers do a test ride with KW and as soon as you hit 65/70 mph you will feel the difference.

Don't know what kind of bike you have but I have a 12inch klock werks shield on my road glide and am very happy with it (5'7 and i look over it). I also had one on my electra glide with same good results
