I currently have an 8" light tint Ultra-flip LRS windshield...love it!
Question for you all: Does anyone have experience with the dark tint? I love the look of the dark, but am a little worried about seeing through it. I'm not talking about seeing "over" it, I'm referring to seeing "through" it. I still like to have good visibility to the ground in front of the motorcycle (sometimes you don't see the potholes until the last minute).
Also, does anyone have experience with the Stealth shield who has also used the Ultra Flip? Differences in riding for the driver and passenger?
Any suggestions and help would be great! Thanks all!
I have a 9 inch ultra dark. No problem seeing through it when needed. Obviously at night visibility is a little less but the amount of glare it kills coming off the road in the bright Texas sun makes it worth the trade off. I rarely ride out of town at night anyway, too many rats with antlers in the hills.
I have an 8" dark tint LRS and love it. I can see through it pretty well. The light tint is better at night( I also have a 9" flat top shield by LRS witht the light tint), obviously, but the dark wont stop you from riding by any means.
Medium here also - Easy to see through during the day, *can* see through it at night (had a dark tint once, no-go at night if you needed to ditch behind the shield temporarily).
