ez pass
I get the same discount the type of security has to do with privacy data. I can't find the link I read before I got it so I hope this one will show what we are up against.

You get NH discount with another states EZ pass unit?
There have been divorce cases where the Fast Lane (MA version of EZ Pass) transponder data has been used in divorce cases to prove hubby was taking the pike to go bang the GF.
The new T passes also have RFID chips in them, and I can look at where you have used it on the public transit system by pressing a button on the farebox. There was a MTA employee in NY who was convicted of murder because his alabi was he was no where near the crime scene, but hit employee pass put him on the Staten Island Ferry before and after the time of the crime.
Wait till they just EZ pass for data collection on non toll roads... timing you between 2 points for speed violations.
BTW GM cars on board computers store data like speed and how many times the air bags deploy. I know for a fact the on board data has been used in court cases to prove negligence in accidents.
and LOJACK and ONSTAR and cell phones with GPS can be used by Law enforcement to locate you against your will.

I have NY EZ Pass and for those of you that have ezpass I was told that the battery on the unit only lasts approx. 5 years sometimes less depending on usage so I went to my ezpass office and had them give me a new pass and I installed it under my front faring just as you would on your own car. As high as possible but to make certain that it would not interfere with the radio. As the other fella said but in my case right were the eagle is at.
If you straddle the line between the sensors here in CA, the tollroad doesn't even know you've gone through. I've heard of it being done. Not that I would do or condone such practices. Cheat the Gov't out of money? No way.[sm=innoc.gif]
I have the New Hampshire EZ pass, Will that work inside the fairing or as someone posted is it to weak? If you can mount it inside the fairing do you use the velcro they give you with the unit and which way is it facing?
Dude,
Did you miss my earlier post in this thread about having the NH EZ Pass and having it mounted inside my fairing? And yes you use the velcro tabs that come with it. Take your fairing off and mount the EZ Pass exactly like you would on your windsheild. Works every time I go thru a toll any where.

I think that Maine must have the power turned way down. Mine is on the windshield of my Road King, just left of center and I have to stop and turn the handle bars all the way to the right to make the light turn green. Some times I just run it and then the camera picks up my plate number and the people in the office charge my account.
Just a reminder. I use the same ezpass in my truck and on the bike. Make sure the ezpass office knows which vehicles you will be using it in.
p.s. I wouldn't try running the light in any state but your home state. It might cost you $25.

Here if Florida they are called Sunpass. I used to Velcro mine to the windshield but for the past 1 1/2 years have carried it in my tank bag or jacket pocket with no problems.
Just be sure to put the correct side out as I heard somewhere that they are highly directional.
